Cajeput oil is a volatile oil obtained by distillation from the leaves of the myrtaceous trees Melaleuca leucadendra, Melaleuca cajeputi, and probably other Melaleuca species. The trees yielding the oil are found throughout Maritime Southeast Asia and over the hotter parts of the Australian continent.

Features

Cajeput oil is used to treat cough, cold, and bacterial and fungal infections. It is used in making hair care products because it has anti-bacterial qualities that treat dandruff and itchy scalp.

Cajeput essential oil has antimicrobial properties and is an active agent that fights against and prevents infections, bacteria, and viruses while regenerating damaged skin.
